You can't find a better realtor. They take care of everything. Gary even does small handyman projects! They listen to what you want and don't waste your time looking at houses you can't afford or that don't fit what you need. I bought the 2nd house they showed me. When it was time to sell, they were just as efficient. I believe they got me the most I could get for the house and in good time. To sum up -they are the best and I would recommend them to everyone whether buying or selling.

We needed a realtor to help us to buy a new home. My daughter recommended Gary and Melissa. Our process of landing a new home has proven that her recommendation was really valuable. Without their diligent work, we wouldn’t be able to get the new home that we like so much. Before having Gary and Melissa as our realtor, we had contacted another realtor who sent us a list of properties, only wanted to bring us to the ones that looked nice in photos. Gary and Melissa worked differently. They realized that photo was not a reliable source, not a base for decision making. Instead of judging by photos, they drove us to see quite a few properties, spending several hours. Gary and Melissa always considered the interests of their customers, working carefully to prevent customer’s potential loss. One time, we made a contingent offer based on the sale of our house in Minnesota. We paid an initial deposit. However, the selling our Minnesota home was not smooth, the contingent offer expired, we formally cancel the contingent offer. At that moment Melissa presented her professional opinion: although the offer had been canceled, the whole process hadn’t been completed, the refund of initial deposit needed to be seen in the bank, before we can take any other moves. Gary and Melissa remembered what they said and what they promised, and accomplished what they said and promised in a timely manner. We trusted them. They said they are life-time realtors. They put a lot into the educational experience of buying/selling and in my opinion, go above and beyond in their services given to you the buyer or seller. Having moved during some very stressful times, I can attest to how involved they are and how available they make themselves. We went to the property on 02/01 and were surprised that the house required significant work to get it ready for sale. I made them aware that I wanted to be minimally involved in the process. I was pleasantly surprised that they fully accommodated that request. I engaged them on 02/01 the house was readied for sale, sold and the money in my account on 03/29 without my needing to be in state. They secured multiple bids on the work even though there were different vendors for roofing, cleaning, painting, carpeting... They reached out to get approval on the vendors that did the work and cost. They kept me up to date via email, text and the occasional call. I am very happy with the process. I received multiple offers and the final selling price was exactly what they had told me. I am glad to recommend their services.

My husband was immediately on board. On March 14 I filled out the pre-approval application and credit union, Safe recommended Melissa and Gary. Melissa reached out to me right away and on Sunday March 17 we were sitting in their Roseville office being schooled in real estate lingo and practices. As we were interested in a particular house in our own neighborhood, Gary scheduled a viewing for the following Tuesday. From there they arranged every detail, answered our questions immediately and kept me calm. They both made this daunting process painless. We closed on April 22 and had the keys the next day. As a team, they also brought unique perspectives to the home-buying process. For example, Gary would generally show me the homes, give me the low-down on the neighborhood, highlight the pros and cons of the house and location, and, with his eye for structural integrity, raise flaws, limitations, and issues with any given property. Melissa brought hertalents to the table during the offer, counter-offer, inspection, and closing processes – all of which can become highly stressful, at times, when one is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars. Melissa is a seasoned negotiator and smart as a whip, and she is also a source of wisdom and solace during the process. I am also beginning to realize that Gary and Melissa are also there to answer remaining questions or facilitate logistical next steps, even after closing. I am so grateful that Gary and Melissa were my real estate agents, and I would highly recommend them to any serious buyer.

!! I have to admit, I am very difficult person to deal with, because I am so picky about who I am working with and what I want. But Melissa's and Gary's professional and friendly approach totaly blew me away, and we became great friends. I was looking for a house when there was not too much inventory and was getting dissapointed because we could not find anything. But Gary knew exactly what I was looking for, and keep showing me more and more houses. And, we found one! I didn’t really have a clue what to do actually. One thing was certain though: I’d done enough investigation to know I didn’t want to go the process without professional help. I asked around and Mellisa and Gary‘s names quickly bubbled up to the top of my list. We had a great phone interview where they shared their approach to educating their clients to the process and steps towards buying a new place (duplex in my case). They asked a number of focusing questions to gather and ensure they understood what my requirements were then quickly translated them into their online tools. The tool’s output of possible choices was spot on: they had it outputting a list of known *available* places for sale in the areas that were of interest to me by the end of the first day of our working together. They gladly did impromptu drive-bys to check out places from the online tool that looked good then shared their thoughts on the place and neighborhood. They also did a great job of connecting us with the lender we ended up using. It took six months to find a place due to the narrow set of requirements we had (and it being a seller’s market) but once we found “The Place“ they quickly got the ball rolling towards closing with lining up the inspectors, title and loan folks. I would gladly recommend Melissa and Gary to anyone looking to relocate to the Sacramento area who could only look virtually for a place: they were persistent and great to work with.

I can’t express my gratitude enough in words! They explain everything thoroughly and walk you through every step! We had COVID try and throw a monkey wrench in things selling and buying simultaneously but that didn’t stop them at all!! Without going into detail, there were some challenges to selling my mother's house. Melissa and Gary were patient and profession, giving the right advice at the right time to get it sold. As you know, I have been living in San Francisco for 25 years except the 3 year period in Gold River. My problem was that I didn't know much about the Sacramento area and I was so ignorant of navigating the housing market. I needed somebody who I could trust and guide me through this unknown territory. Here you guys were such a godsend to me. You discussed with me how to market my house, what should be done in the house with the minimum expenses for the maximum result. You arranged all the necessary repairs on my behalf, made sure that the jobs were done to your high standards, and followed up with every little details about the house. I didn't have to deal with anything about the house except the payments. It was such a big help to me because I live in San Francisco and didn't have to drive for 2 hours to Gold River every time something happened. Your professionalism and generosity with your advice was so refreshing because my previous experience with the real estate agents were not like this. My house is sold in such a short time!!! But most of all , I am so grateful to you for such a painless experience. However, Gary and Melissa made sure I was educated and stayed educated during the entire homebuying process. While it seemed like the entire housing market was going crazy, they made sure I had my head on straight and didn't make any illogical decisions. I also truly appreciated their flexibility with accommodating to my busy work schedule.
